The much maligned Dr Arther Janov showed during his lifetime that the human brain has three very different levels of psychological function.
I underwent his therapy and and have been practicing it in Australia for 15 years.
In my writings I have been generous in my view that the intellectual mind is about 10% of brain function, or the tip of the iceberg.
The real powerhouse of the human brain is the level of sensation in the brainstem/midbrain area.
Every person who undergoes Janov Primal Therapy realises that psychology and psychiatry are basically useless in understanding the human condition.
The intellect alone, as used in this interview with Dr McCabe, provides nothing much in understanding the human condition.
Dr Janov's work has never been seriously researched, mostly because feelings and sensation are not taught in any University anywhere in the world - that I know of.
If 'Dad' wants to save America that can only be done by understanding and acting on Dr Gilchrist's two hemispheres, the left and right, or Dr Janov's three levels, the cognitive, the feelings and sensations.
