My son struggled in school, my daughter flourished… so I took my son out and we just faced the world together until he was based enough to go back and finish his senior year
One of the greatest problems I faced, seeing the problems of school failure in the California school system when I grew up and then seeing them repeated (worse) in the 80’s & 90’s as my children grew up I knew there was a serious problem but didn’t know what or how to deal with it. I tried homeschooling but my degree was in physics and I was lost in the complexity of what the school system said I had to teach…so I simply went back to teaching the basics…Reading the classics, writing what you think you know and travel to learn what is out there and how to interact with it. When my son returned to finish his last year of high school he was an honors student with hope for a bright future. HOME SCHOOL IS THE ANSWER
