Marx has persisted for so long because I think is a phenomenon of the type of inversion of the opposite, which Carl Jung explains in his book, Man and His Symbols. I think he wrote something or expressed and idea as part of a cycle in human history, he is a heretic in the religious sense and his teachings are "secret knowledge". We have not been able to get rid of that ideological pathology for reasons we don´t know and much less understand, but at least we know they don´t have anything to do with information processed or derived through scientific methods, so it has to be through other ways of knowing involving intuition, albeit in an inverted way that excludes empirical evidence. That is my opinion because the question is so large that is difficult to fathom.
