Just watched a clip of your interview with @Peter Boghossian. Loved it. Especially Peter’s point about society and the need for error correction. It was an expression of a post I’ve been working on and just wanted to say thanks to both of you for helping to crystalize the thought.
What a fantastic essay! Agree 💯. Can't believe I'm the only one to comment so far. The greatest danger we face, as is happening all over the UK empire, is being unable to distinguish between productive and destructive immigrants. And unable to distinguish between the incentives of legal (approved) and illegal (indeterminate) immigrants. If any nation allows millions of foreign arrivals from cultures with hostile ideologies, allows them to live in segregated enclaves and collect welfare, and have lots of kids while the native population is in steep decline, the future looks bleak indeed. But if we can't discuss this in public and agree on some basic stats and tenets of human nature and policy incentives, which we currently cannot, the problem can only be solved until the dominant party changes hands. Perhaps the reason young people are moving center right is because job prospects are a slap in the face of luxury beliefs. But as long as the Marxists in academia and mainstream media control the narrative that feeds their self righteous audience, reform is impossible.
